As a result Learningforpurpose.org treats all information collected as private. We will not make your information available to a third party unless required or permitted by law.
Like most websites, when accessing learningforpurpose.org, log files are generated by the web server that show the IP address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited to generate statistics about access and functionality.

Learning for Purpose provides its Analytics functions (e.g., Workforce Analytics Dashboard, Personal Analytics Report) as a free Service. This Service is provided by Learning for Purpose at no cost and is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, either expressed or implied.
If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. It is your responsibility to keep your access (e.g., password, code, personalised URL) to each Service secure.
The personal information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. If you use our Service, then you agree to donate your data to Research purposes. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described under Privacy and Research.
You should be aware that there are certain things that Learning for Purpose will not take responsibility for. Certain functions of the Service will require you to have an active internet connection. The connection can be Wi-Fi, or provided by your mobile network provider, but Learning for Purpose cannot take responsibility for the Service not working at full functionality if you don’t have access to Wi-Fi, and you don’t have any of your data allowance left.
Learning for Purpose is committed to ensuring that the Service is as useful and efficient as possible. For that reason, we reserve the right to make changes to the Service or to charge for the Service, at any time and for any reason. We endeavour to keep the Service free of charge, and we will never charge you for the Service without making it very clear to you exactly what you are paying for, and only after you consent to be charged.
You are not allowed to copy, or modify the Service, or our trademarks in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the Service. The Service itself, and all the trade marks, copyright, database rights and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Learning for Purpose.
Considerable effort has been made to ensure all information the Service reports to you is accurate. Certain biases (e.g., self-selection) or errors (e.g., incomplete responses) may still affect the data. It is best to interpret the findings as estimates and trends. No employment decisions should be taken on the basis of this report and without consulting other sources of information. In using the Service, you understand the responsibilities, limitations and risks relating to your organisation, workforce, and/or yourself. The onus is on you, the user.
Additional terms apply to the participation in and the data from our research studies. We provide specific Participant Information at respective sections within Learningforpurpose.org, and you are bound by them and should review them wherever they are relevant to you when participating in our research studies.
Each research study must be approved by a Human Research Ethics Committee, and this status may be verified via the approval identifier displayed and relating to an academic institution leading the research study.
Our research is not of commercial nature, we do not sell or share your information. Only the academic research team has access to the information provided, which is used for research purposes only, securely stored, strictly confidential and subject to legal restrictions. What you provide is protected through an institutional research data store. All information is treated as confidential and will not be released by the investigator in any form that may identify people or organisations, unless required by law.
Findings are reported anonymously, in aggregate form only in public reports and scholarly publications so they can inform future Not-for-Profit practice, policy and funding. No personal information will be made public from which an individual or organisational identity is apparent or can be reasonably ascertained without your approval. Personal reports are only displayed to the respective individual research participant. Organisational dashboards can only be accessed by an authorised organisational representative.
